The Venesat-1 communications satellite(Venesat-1),which was successfully launched on October 30,2008,is five years old.In the five years,Venesat-1 has operated stably,which makes a positive contribution to expanding the international market for China’s communications satellites.After the successful launch of Venesat-1,CAST sent 19 batches of on-site support teams,providing a guarantee for the stable in-orbit operation of the satellite.For years,Venesat-1 has boosted the development of communications,broadcasting,distance education,telemedicine,and contributes to the social progress and social development.
