A continuous winding machine for making GRP pipes with bigger diameter was presented. The production principles of the continuous winding machine with the steelband was adopted and the pipe winding process combined the chopperspray up with winding. This paper described the structure of the combined mandrel and the chopper—spray up device on the continuous winding machine.
