美作为客观对象中契合审美主体物种属性的,令审美主体普遍愉快的性质,是客观对象本来存在的,具有自身规律的,不是审美个体的主观好恶能够任意改变的,这是美的客观性。美作为一种快感对象,是相对于有感觉功能的生命主体而存在的。没有主体,就没有愉快的美。判断事物是否美的主观原因有很多,它们有合理性,也有不合理性。美的客观性决定了共同美和审美标准的存在,是制约美的主观性的基础,同时包容着美的主观性;美的主观性导致了差异美的存在,不断丰富着美的客观性,决定了美的客观标准的流动开放。
