Progress on the Treatment of Advanced Gastric Carcinoma in Elderly Patients with the Combination of Chinese and Western Medicine

目的总结老年晚期胃癌中西医结合内科治疗现状及新进展。方法选择中外主要医学数据库检索老年晚期胃癌中西医结合内科治疗方面的文献进行分析和研究。结果全身化疗仍是老年晚期胃癌的主要治疗手段,而中西医结合治疗能够提高临床疗效。结论中西医结合治疗老年晚期胃癌具有更好的临床疗效,应在临床实践中探索更佳的中西医结合内科治疗方案。

Objective To summarize the current status and progress in combination of Chinese and western medicine on the treatment of advanced gastric carcinoma in elderly patients. Methods Analyzing and researching medical databases at home and abroad on combination of Chinese and western medicine on the treatment of advanced gastric carcinoma. Results Currently, intravenous chemotherapy is still the major treatment of advanced gastric carcinoma in elderly patients, but the combination of Chinese and western medicine may improve the clinical efficacy. Conclusion Combination of Chinese and western medicine in treatment of advanced gastric carcinoma in elderly patients is superior to simple chemotherapy.
