Analysis of Factors Affecting the Functioning of Head Nurses in Small and Intermediate Hospitals:An Investigation

评价临床科护士长整体功能发挥水平、影响因素及存在的薄弱环节。方法 采取多角度问卷调查法对 11所医院的 117名护士长进行调查并经统计处理。结果 临床科护士长整体素质及功能发挥水平较好。检验证明 ,临床科护士长功能发挥与学历、职称、任职年限及任护士工作年限相关。

Objective To evaluate the overall level at which clinical head nurses develop their function,and analyze factors affecting their functioning and weak links that exist.Methods 117 head nurses from 11 hospitals were investigated by unsing multi aspect questionnaire,and then the data were statistically treated.Results The overall quality of the clinical head nurses was good and they were able to develop their functions well by and large.It was testified that functioning of the head nurses was correlated with their educational background,professional title,years of service and years of being a head nurse.Conclusion It is necessary to assure the links mentioned above in selecting and training head nurses.
