端粒长度在动脉粥样硬化风险中的预测作用及端粒酶治疗前景 被引量:4

摘要 端粒位于真核细胞染色体末端,维护基因组的稳定性。端粒被认为是细胞衰老的生物钟,端粒缩短参与了机体的衰老。端粒的过度损耗导致血管内皮细胞、内皮祖细胞以及平滑肌细胞衰老和功能障碍,进而参与动脉粥样硬化病理演进,最终引发冠心病、脑卒中等。而细胞内的端粒酶可以补偿端粒损耗,有望成为延缓衰老和治疗衰老相关疾病的潜在靶点。本文综述了端粒对动脉粥样硬化发病机制的影响和心血管疾病发生风险的预测作用以及端粒酶治疗的前景。
