Technical Innovation for the Modernization of AgricultureTransportation Machinery in the New Century in China

对我国农用运输车的概念作了进一步深入阐述 ,并在科学理论基础上 ,提出了农用运输车应具备的特色技术 。

Since the model of four wheeled farm transport vehicle was selected by the government 14 years ago, it has not been satisfied with its market profits. For example, it shared only 16% of a total production of three million farm transport vehicles in 1998, which was farless than that of the three wheeled model. Especially, there is a trend recently for the four wheeled farm transport vehicles to follow the concept of an automobile, which makes its price higher and even a poorer market in China. The paper gives a detailed discussion concerned with the concept and design principle of a farm transporter in China and points out the technical features it should possess, such as low speed under the full load, climbing property at heavy load, large tire size, axial load distribution for the stability, big driven force of an overloaded vehicle and so on. Besides those, a special attention should be paid to their off road capability. To realize the modernization of agriculture transportation machinery in China, further efforts are needed on technical innovation.
