利率市场化程度与银行业集中度关系研究

Study on the Relationship between the Degree of Interest Rate Marketization and Banking Concentration

目前,我国大多数领域的利率已经实现市场化,利率市场化改革将深刻改变商业银行的生存环境,为商业银行的经营和发展带来空前的机遇和挑战。论本文运用最小二乘回归,就利率市场化水平和银行业集中度之间的关系进行线性回归,发现两者之间存在非常高的负相关性。利率市场化加剧了银行业的竞争,为中小银行的崛起提供了空间,转变了银行业的市场结构,使得银行业更加高效的发展。

At present, interest rate marketization has been achieved in most areas, it will profoundly change the survival environment of commercial banks and brings unprecedented opportunities and challenges for the operation and development of commercial banks. In this paper, using the least squares regression, we make a linear regression between the degree of interest rate marketization and banking concentration. Then we found that there is a very high negative correlation between the two factors. Interest rate marketization aggravated the competition in the banking industry, provided a space for the rise of small and medium-sized banks, changed the banking market structure and made banks develop more efficiently.
