长期以来,以培养学生英语技能为主导的英语教学模式,使新闻英语教学成为技能训练的重要手段,报刊的媒介功能和大学生媒介素养教育被忽视。评价理论关注语篇中所协商的各种态度,帮助读者解析文章中所体现的社会意识形态和评判价值,它在语篇分析中的实用性,为新闻英语教学带来了重要的启示,也为培养大学生媒介素养提供了新视角。
For many years, skill- oriented English teaching patterns has made English news teaching a way to train student's skills, and media function and student's media literacy have been ignored.Appraisal is concerned with the attitudes that are negotiated in a text and helps readers to explore the ideology and value judgment presented in the text. The practicability of the appraisal theory in the discourse analysis has a significant implication for English news teaching, which provides a new perspective of college students' media literacy education.
