浅析并置理论视角下的机器翻译

A Study on Machine Translation from the Perspective of Collocational Theory

近些年来,由于国内外信息交流量增大、交流速度增加,人们或多或少都会使用一些翻译软件以便快速地获取信息。然而无论是以词汇为主的机器翻译系统还是以句法为主的机器翻译系统或是以语义为主的机器翻译系统都或多或少存在一些不尽如人意的地方。本文从语义学的并置理论出发,利用一些翻译软件对一些搭配用法的翻译结果进行搜索,然后发现问题并提出改进方法,以期探寻出机器翻译未来改进的方向,使机器翻译的译文质量得到提高。

In recent years, as the amount and the speed of the ex-change of domestic and international information increase, the application of some translation software for a quick access to the meaning of the information becomes a necessity. Nevertheless, there are some flaws in the lexicon-based machine translation system, the syntax-based machine translation system and the se-mantic-based one. Based on the Collocational Theory, this paper attempts to find out one of the problems via applying some trans-lation software to search for different versions of the translations of some collective expressions, and tries to propose a possible so-lution, in the hope of improving the quality of machine transla-tion.
