探讨了压抑情绪的产生原因和后果,从心路治疗的角度提供了回归自我情绪天性的路径并说明了这样做的显著益处。认为一个和谐生活的人在心理与情绪以及生理方面都应该是健康或健全的,如果这其中的某一方面有缺陷,整个人格就会受到影响,而大多数人在情绪方面存在不同程序的发育不全或不成熟的现象。情绪方面包涵感受的能力,情感埋藏和掩饰的程度越高,给予和接受幸福的能力就被阻碍得越多。
