摘要
大学英语四、六级考试试卷结构和测试题型调整的重要内容之一是将单句汉译英调整为内容涉及"中国历史、文化、经济、社会发展"的段落汉译英。本研究通过定性分析语言测试对语言教学的"反拨"效应发现,翻译题型调整将提升中国文化在大学英语课程教学中的现实性,因为大学英语课程教学引入中国文化知识和信息有助于满足多样化学习需求、提升教学效度和发展跨文化交际能力。
The change from sentence translation to paragraph translation of ＂Chinese history, culture, economy and social development＂ is an important part in CET4/6 structure and item adjustment. This study, through a qualitative analysis of washback effects of language tests on language teaching, indicates that translation item adjustment pro- motes the teaching of Chinese culture in college English curriculum because the introduction of Chinese cultural knowledge and information in college English curriculum helps to satisfy various learning demands, improve teaching validity, and develop cross-culture communication.
