At the beginning of the new year, we can confidently predict that 2014 will be an unforgettable year in China＇s modern history. The country will start comprehensively deepening reforms, as called for by the Third Plenum of the 18th CPC Central Committee. If preliminary break- throughs can be clinched within a year in all five areas stipulated, especially in economic system reform, the overall reform will be anchored on a solid, irreversible basis.
