摘要
Last December＇s Central Urbanization Work Conference set out the main objectives and basic principles for promoting urbanization in China. The conference determined that a new pattern of urbanization with Chinese characteristics should be actively and steadily promoted. This approach will haveat its core the principle of being human- oriented. Based on the ＂four moderniza- tions＂ - industrialization, informatization, urbanization and agricultural moderniza- tion - urbanization would embrace a sci- entific layout, green development, and the country＇s cultural heritage.
