This paper introduces the connotation of problom- chain teaching mode. Combined with the examples in the analysis on stress-state in Engineering Mechanics,the paper summarizes and analyzes the teaching material of this part and organizes these material into a questions collection which have a chain structure. Thus it explains the applying method of this teaching mode. The application of this mode can help the students to find and solve problems, enhance their ability to think independently and creatively.
