Knowledge sharing among users is significant for the development of the virtual eormnunity, and the Social Net- work Analysis （SNA） has been a popular research method in recent years, the paper aimed to analyze the principle and the per- spective of the application of SNA for the virtual community knowledge sharing research. This paper discussed the application range of SNA and the characteristic of virtual community in detail, and expounded that SNA was a proper method to study the virtual community knowledge sharing in nature. The conclusion of literature research and empirical research demonstrated that the applica- tion perspective of SNA for the virtual community knowledge sharing research was feasible and scientitie.
