Research on Cooperative Patent Classification System

2013年1月1日,由欧洲专利局和美国专利局联合开发的联合专利分类(CPC)系统正式上线启用。作为专利文献分类领域的新成员,CPC在欧美两局的积极推动下,正以其兼容性强且细分程度高等特点不断向专利文献的全球分类体系演进。本文首先从发展历程、应用特点和体系结构等方面对该分类体系进行深入分析,然后结合分类查询和文献检索的实际过程对其具体运用进行详尽的展示,为更广泛、有效地使用CPC体系提供参考信息。

Cooperative Patent Classification （CPC）, initiated as a joint partnership between the EPO and the USPTO, is launched online since 1st January 2013. As a new member of the patent classification world, CPC with good capability and more subgroups, is on the way to evolve into a global patent classification system under the efforts of the F_TO and the UsP＇rO. The pa- per first analyses the classification system fi＇om the aspects of its history, characteristics and system structure etc., and then illus- trates the details of classifieation scheme inquiry and literature searching based on CPC, thereby providing useful information for applying CPC more widely and efficiently.
