副词"势必"常出现于新闻报道语体中。"势必"所在小句表示的结果或事件具有影响性、较高客观性、一般性。"影响性"这一语义特点在后续小句中会有句法体现。前提小句一般含有表示动态或变化的成分,或者表示假设条件等。"势必"词汇化最关键的因素是主语的出现。"势必"小句要求有推测前提的存在,是受到"势"语义残留的影响。

The adverb shibi often appears in news reports. The sentence with shibi indicates that the result or the event is influential, objective and general. The semantic feature of being influential would be reflected in the subsequent sentence. The prerequisite sen- tences generally contain structure which means dynamic or change, or express hypothetical prerequisite. The key factor which results in the lexicalization of shibi is the appearance of subject. The sentence with shibi demands the existence of inference prerequisite, which is affected by the meaning of shi.
