“现代教育”与“传统教育”之争及现代教育的走向

A Controversy between Modern Education and Traditional Education and the Trend of Modern Education

在世界教育史上存在着“传统教育”与“现代教育”二大教育流派 ,二者的划分并不只是从时间上来进行的 ,它们在多方面存在差别。“传统教育”主要指西方近代以来以赫尔巴特为代表的教育思想 ,而“现代教育”则指以杜威为代表的实用主义教育思想 ,尤其是进步主义教育流派。弄清“传统教育”与“现代教育”的主要分歧有助于我们探寻现代教育的新走向 。

Traditonal education and modern education are two schools of education in education history,they are different not only in times but also in many aspect Traditional education mainly refers to the thoughts of education represented by J.F.Herbert since modern times of the west. However, modern education refers to J.Dewey's thoughts of education. It's helpful for us to find the trend of modern education development and improve the undertakings of education if we make clear differents between traditional education and modern education.
