医史互证,作为一个全新的学术概念,源于国学大师陈寅恪的"文史互证"思想,又获益于当代文史学者卞孝萱、景蜀慧等的深入。它以医学(中医学)、历史学为出发点,基于医学史对医学发展过程及其规律的研究和史学对人类社会赓续活动之体相的研究,汲取近现代科技史、新史学、人类学、社会学、文化学等的理论精华,多种途径彼此融合、互相证实,形成一种既贯穿古今又汇通中西的医史学研究方法。医史互证的研究思路,会对传统医学史的研究有所拓展。

Mutual proof between medicine and history, as a new academic concept, derives from research of master CHEN Yin-ke ＇mutual verification of literature and history＇, also benefits from the contemporary literature and history scholars such as Prof. BIAN Xiao-xuan and Prof. JING Shu-hui in depth. It takes medicine （TCM） and history as a starting point, based on the medicine history, by which studies on the development process and laws of medicine, and based on the history, by which studies on Boddhavya-Dharmatva of continuation activity in the human societies. It absorbs theoretical essence of numerous disciplines, such as modem science and technology history, new historiography, anthropology, sociology, culturology, etc. Mutual proof between medicine and history, as a research method of medical history, integrates each other and confirms each other, links up the ancient and modem, and merges China and the west. This kind of research approach will expand in the study of traditional medicine history.
