摘要
英国的《太阳报》是新闻集团旗下的一份煽情性花边小报,是全英销量最高的报章,而同属于新闻集团的另一份报纸《泰晤士报》则是英国第一大主流报纸,被誉为英国社会的忠实记录者。作为英国社会发行量最高的两大报纸,《太阳报》和《泰晤士报》有着不同的编辑叙事风格。通过语言学的视角,借助系统功能语法中的评价系统,运用UAM语料分析软件,对这两份报纸中关于同一政治话题的语篇进行分析,对比出其在态度、介入和极差资源分布上呈现出的差异。
The sun is a most spread tabloid in UK which is full of box news and scandals. It is also a best- seller newspaper. However, the Times which also belongs to the News Corporation is the main news media in UK. It is ranked as the true record of UK society. Both as the top branded newspaper, they are known for its different focuses and tones in reporting news. It is based on the framework of appraisal theory and analyzes the same political reporting in the two newspapers under the subsystems of appraisal theory, namely, attitude, engagement and graduation with the help of UAM corpus tool. It will discuss the differ- ences between the two newspapers with qualitative and quantitative research method.
