Discussion on Uzbeg of the Golden Horde

月即别是金帐汗国第九任君主,在位期间,采取了一系列有效措施,正式迁都别儿哥萨莱,使得汗国对地方的财政及其他事务的管理更加有效;顺应社会历史发展的客观需要,定伊斯兰教为国教,尊重学者,鼓励发展科学文化教育事业,传承发展伊斯兰文明;坚定地站在元朝一边,双方维持了良好的宗藩关系,与埃及马木路克王朝通好,确保了中西交通路线的畅通。月即别篡夺汗位,与伊儿汗国为争夺以阿塞拜疆为中心的外高加索地区,连年征战,反映出蒙古族统治阶级自身的消极性和落后性。

Uzbeg khan was the ninth monarch of the （;olden Horde. During his reign, he took a series of effective meas- ures. Firstly, he formally moved the capital Sarai berqe, which made the local financial and other affairs management more effective in Khanate; secondly, for the need of the social history development, Uzbeg khan was converted to Islam, respected scholars, encouraged the development of scientific and cultural education, inherited and developed Islamic civili- zation; thirdly, be firmly stood in the side of Yuan Dynasty for the sake of a good tributary relations and kept a friendly relation with Egypt Mamluk dynasty in order to ensure smooth flow of traffic route between Chinese and Western. But Uzbeg khan usurped the throne, and many times be launched the war with ll-khanate for Azerbaiian as the center of the Transcaucasian region, which reflected the negative and backwardness of the Mongolia governing class. In a word, Uzbeg khan was an outstanding ruler in the history of the Mongolia race and even of the world.
