汉字字库字体混合方体与长体的可行性研究

A Feasibility Study of Chinese Character Font with a Hybrid of Square and Long

汉字字库字体混合方体与长体有多方面的可行性,2首先汉字自身多种字形结构并存的混合现象使研究具备了先天条件,其次拉丁字母不同宽窄结构字体混合的方式带来理论指导和实践启示,而现有汉字字库字体长体、方体和扁体并存的现象以及当代印刷术的发展和电脑的普及,又提供了实践上和技术上的可行性。汉字字库字体方体与长体混合具有一定的经济意义,能增加版面的形式美感,调和中西文混排时的不和谐现象,同时能有效解决简化字带来编排时字体内白不匀的现象。字体设计师可以通过三个步骤完成混合方体与长体的汉字字库字体设计,首先在设计之初根据字形结构特征和笔画数量归类汉字,列出属于"方体"与"长体"的字样;其次根据设计设想规范"方体"与"长体"的宽窄比例关系;最后根据设定的宽窄比例标准化设计。

The Chinese character font with mixed square and long body has a number of feasibility. First of al , the coexistence of diverse glyph structure of Chinese characters itself makes the research has the congenital condition;secondly, the hybrid approach of the dif erent font size structure of Latin alphabet brings theoretical guidance and practical inspiration;while existing Chinese character fonts with long, square and lfat bodies and the development of modern printing and the popularity of computer, provides a practical and technical feasibility. On the other hand, it has certain economic signiifcance：to increase the layout aesthetic feeling, to reconcile the disharmony in the Western-Chinese text, and to ef ectively solve the problem of uneven white within which the simpliifed characters bring in the format .Three steps can be used by font designers to complete the design of mixed square and long Chinese character font：early in the design is to classify characters according to the glyph structure characteristics and stroke number and list characters which belong to the＆quot;square”or＆quot;long＆quot;. It is fol owed by the speciifcation of the‘length’ and‘width’ proportional relationship. Final y, design font according to the set of standardized width ratio.
