张念志教授在治疗慢性阻塞性肺疾病方面有着丰富的临床经验且疗效确切,张教授指出,中医药治疗稳定期慢性阻塞性肺疾病(COPD)有其独特的优势。治疗该病应重视在其稳定期培元固本,以减少急性发作的机会,从而延缓疾病进展,改善患者的生存质量。临床治疗以补肺润肺为首,提高肺脏功能;以化痰消瘀为轴,祛除病理因素;以健脾益气为法,杜绝生痰之源;以益肾纳气为根,改善咳喘症状。

Prof. Zhang Nian - zhi has rich clinical experiences in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease（COPD） and has received definite efficacy. Prof. Zhang pointed out that Chinese medicine had unique advantages in the treatment of COPD at stable stage. The treatment of it should stress on cultiva- ting the primary and consolidating the root at stable stage to reduce the occurrence of acute attack so as to de- lay the progression of disease and improve the survival quality of patients. In clinical treatment, tonifying and moistening lung is the first priority to improve lung function;resolving phlegm and removing stasis is the axle to eliminating pathological factors;strengthening spleen and benefiting qi is the principle to prevent from the source of phlegm production;and benefiting kidney and receiving qi is the root to relieve cough and asthma.
