王蒙旧作新发的意义质疑

An Enquiry into the Implications of the Rebirth of An Old Writing by Wang Meng

王蒙今年出版的创作于1978的旧作《这边风景》,引起文坛热议。如若从小说的主题设置、叙述模式、形象塑造以及那时"政治"化的文学腔调看,都乏善可陈。文中的地域性特色因游离了故事与情节也显得有些牵强。而与小说叙事的历史感互为悖论的"小说人语",置于文本整体中,似有蛇足之嫌。这个患有"先天""绝症"的"已经逝世"的文本,实没有起死回生的必要。

： An old 1978 written novel of This Side of Scenery published by Wang Meng this year has caused heated discussion. The novel has almost nothing to recommend in terms of theme setting, narrating model, image creation as well as political literature tone. The local feature, being decoupled from the plot and story, is also far fetched. There seems redundant to put storytellers words inserted in the writing, which is an apparent paradox of the historical feeling of the narration. It is shouldn＇t be reborn of this novel which has deadly disease of the deficiencies of nature and died in fact.
