Qi Baishi made a lot of sketches during his life.Most of the sketches were about character,flower and birds,which draw on the paper or even carved on wooden tables. The sketches, modified ones, the text on them and other details reveal his creation of thought in paintings as well as the ways and methods he continually advance and improve his painting.His drawing,improvement and the habit of using sketches inextricably link to his great achievements of art.
