Qingdao Recruits Sailors from across China to Experience the "Clipper" Yachts

为推动帆船运动的普及和发展，促进社会各界对帆船运动的了解和喜爱，青岛市重大国际帆船赛事（节庆）活动组委会办公室从1月20日起面向全国选拔20人作为2013—2014克利伯环球帆船赛青岛站克利伯大帆船体验人员。

With a view to popularizing and developing the sailing sports and enhancing the understanding of the sailing sports among the people of all walks of life, from January 20, the Office of the Organizing Committee of the Important International Sailing Race Events of Qingdao started to recruit 20 sailors from across China to participate in the experience of the Qingdao Act of the 2013-2014 Clipper around the World Yacht Race. On March 6-11, the selected sailors will go aboard the Clipper yachts to experience a top international sailing race.The Clipper around the World Yacht Race is the largest around the world yacht race worldwide. Thus far, Qingdao has successively hosted the Qingdao Act of the 2005/06, 2007/08, 2009/10 and 2011/124 races. The 2013-2014 Clipper around the World Yacht Race set sails from the Thames in London on September 1, 2013 and will get to Qingdao in March 2014. The yachts will berth at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center.
