Terminology management systems play an increasingly more important role in translation with the de- velopment of the language service industry. This paper firstly explains the concepts of terminology management and terminology management systems, then discusses the basic functions, features and classification of terminol- ogy management systems, and finally points the direction of future development of the systems.
