The book A Collection of Articles on E/C Translation ＆ Lexicography best highlights Xu Shigu＇ s thoughts as a researcher of E/C translation and a lexicographer of E/C dictionaries. This article briefly introduces and analyzes his views on translation from four aspects ： the E-C translation of academic works, the relationship between culture and translation, the C-E translation of cultural words and the translation quality.
