李健吾的文学批评虽有西学背景,却放弃了西方文论的学理言说,从直观出发,整体把握,致力于开掘批评者与作者之间的灵魂共振;用隐喻与象征的形式表达生命体验,以艺术通达真理,呈现出鲜明的诗性特质。其文论的诗性品质正是中国诗学传统的发展。

Although Li Jianwu＇s literary criticism was based on the western background, it gave up the writing manner of the literary theory in the west. He proceeded from the subjective, grasped the overall assurance, dedicated to the soul resonance between the critics and the authors. His literary criticism which expressed the life experiences with the forms of metaphor and symbolism expressed the truths with the artistic methods and showed the distinctive poetic qualities. Li Jianwu＇s poetic criticism is the extension and development of Chinese traditional poetry.
