This paper attempts to analyze the cultural connotations of the stone carving decorations in Yongzhou by means of analyzing the artistic characteristics, the modeling features, the carving crafts and the decorative features. Equipped with historic, regional, cultural, and aesthetic characteristics, those decorations have the artistic forms of stone carving of ancient dwellings in Yongzhou, which provides a wealth of materials for the inheritance and development of contemporary environmental art design.
