English phonetics is an important content of college students＇ English learning, which is not only the basic of English learning, but also directly influences on the self-confidence, motivation and academic serf-concept of English learners. This paper analyses the misunderstandings of college students in content of phonetics, places and manner of articulation and practice methods, and offers some suggestions to improve students＇ pronunciation.
