This paper introduces the wire environment of HDSL, the organization of HDSL transmission system and the structure of HDSL transceiver, and gives a detailed description to the typical implementation of internetworking by HDSL devices and routers. It is a new network solution to LAN through high-bit-rate digital subscriber line(HDSL),and high ratio of performance to price.
