摘要
多层B/S方式的Web计算模式已成为计算机应用特别是数据库系统开发的必然趋势。如何在开放的环境下满足用户对应用资源的需求和提供足够计算功能的同时，确保信息资源的安全和提高系统的性能，是值得研究的课题。对Web多媒体数据库系统开发中实现数据文件的访问处理，以及其可能涉及的系统效能与安全等问题进行了讨论，介绍了可供采用的策略与方法。
Web computing mode based on multi-tier B/S has been the dominant one in application development, especially in that of database system. It is one of the important tasks in application development to study how to improve the performance and secure the resource at the same time of providing the concurrent users with required functions. In this paper the issues on file processing as well as its effects on performance and security in development of multimedia database system based on B/S are discussed, and available strategies or solutions are also given.
