Discussion on Promoting Actions of Great Sport Events to Construction and Development of Cities Based on Practice in Fujian Province

举办大型体育赛事对一个城市的建设和发展的推动作用显而易见。凭借其巨大的经济和社会效益,体育赛事已经成为城市营销的"名片";举办体育赛事对推动本地区群众体育、竞技体育和体育产业等方面产生的促进作用是全方位的。福建省应该以举办2015年首届全国青年运动会为契机,把具有福建特色的品牌体育赛事做强做大,推动城市建设,增进社会和谐,带动相关产业,努力促进福建体育事业的可持续发展。

There are obvious promoting actions to construction and development of cities in holding great sport e- vents. Holding great sport events has become an important business card for cities to market relying upon their eco- nomic returns and social benefits. Great sport events also have overall promoting actions to mass sports, competitive sports and sports industry. For Fujian, the province should strongly and largely grow its brand sport events, to promote construction and development of cities, and to push the sustainable development of Fujian sports.
