在全球化和信息化的推动下,大学正在发生重要的变化。未来大学面临着什么可能性,大学该如何发展等问题,为国际社会所普遍关注。对此,外国学者在反思知识经济对大学影响的基础上提出的主要观点有:1.全球多样性是未来大学发展的参照系;2.未来大学将立足网络社会,拓展公共空间,促进社会发展;3."关心能力"将成为大学的重要目的;4.吸收过去大学元素是未来大学发展的一种可行路径。

Universities are promoted by globalization and information, and are undergoing a great changes. What the future university is facing and how will it develop-these are the important questions concerned by inter- national societies. The main standpoints of the foreign scholars are as follows ： 1. global diversity is the parameter for the development of the future university; 2. future university will open up the public space and make society move forward;3. “capacity to care” will be the great purpose for the future university;4, to absorb the useful ele- ment of the university of the past is the possible way for developing forward of the future university.
