中国戏曲具有歌舞性、虚拟性、程式性、表现性的特点,而以小小舞台结合演员表演表现出无限时空,以及演员和观众直接交流这两点为最本质的特征,其余特点均为其派生。

Chinese theatre has several characteristics. It stresses performers＂ singing and dancing abilities. It has its own stylization and way of representation. It always presents infinite sense of time and space through actors ~ perform- ance in the small stage. It pays much attention to the direct communication between performers and audiences.
