The purified restriction endonuclease Bsp63I has a molecular weight of about 113 800 daltons by SephadexG 200 gel filtration,that of the enzyme subunit is about 56 800 daltons as assayed by sodium dodecyl sulphate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.The N terminal aminoacid of the enzyme is Alanine as assayed by dansyl chloride.This paper also compared partial properties of the three isoenzymes:Bsp63I,Bsp78I and PstI.
