摘要
一系列的事实说明,凡是遭受严重自然灾害袭击的地区,凡是社会动乱时期,凡是商品经济遭受严重破坏的市场,伴随着粮价与物价的高涨,清代的流通领域通常会发生"银贱钱贵"的现象。局部的战争引起局部钱价暴涨,全局性的战争引起全国性的银价大幅度下跌;同样道理,局部的灾害引起局部的钱价暴涨,大范围的灾害引起大范围的银价下跌。
The price of foods and goods soars in the event of severe natural disasters, social disturb- ances, and serious sabotage of economy in Qing dynasty. Regional warfares ignite the local inflations, while nationwide warfares result in the depreciation of the currency. Likewise, regional and national disas- ters cause abrupt fluctuations.
