毛泽东针对共产主义展开了深入的契合当下的遥望。他指出,社会主义向共产主义过渡具有必然性和必要性、革命性和长期性;共产主义亦存在矛盾,且具有多阶段性;共产主义的实现需要高度的人文素养;共产主义分配方式上的按需分配具有逐步性及变化性;三大差别消失的过程具有长期性;未来社会,政党、阶级、国家机器将逐渐消亡,人类进到大同境域。

Mao Ze-dong has an appropriate anticipation to the prospect of communism, pointing out the necessity for the transition of socialism to communism, which needs revolution and long period of time. But communism has its own characteristics and require more for its realization, like humanistic quality, a proper way of distribution, etc. The three great differences need a long time to disappear, and in the future, political parties, classes and the state machinery will also disappear gradually for the coming of communism.
