This paper introduces the characteristics of cycle and cost requirements of mold and its parts in the manu- facturing process, analyzes the implementation method and the superiority of rapid prototyping in manufacturing mold parts, and illustrates the concrete application of rapid prototyping by taking manufacturing charger kit as an example, which has certain reference value in manufacturing other mold parts.
