In this paper, it discussed a bookshelf location system based on html, jquery, c# and sqlserver database in detail. For giving a better guide to the readers for searching for the book, the system can locate the bookshelf of the book and of- fers the bookshelf information in 3 ways, such as word, picture and animat. Meanwhile, the data - normalizing method and the framework of tile system give contribution to the hight degree accurate of the shelf location and separation of tile foreground from the backend. Because of this, the system is flexible, adaptable and has a low maintenance cost.
