The Golden Spoon Model: A General Theory of Analysis of System Behavior in Social Sciences

本文提出一种社会科学领域通用型理论"金勺模型",认为社会科学理论的核心是描述和解释因果关系,即社会现象的原因和影响。金勺模型围绕此核心,有四个要素:结构、行动者、互动与演化,可从社会系统行为层面入手,对许多从宏观到宏观(macro-macro)的社会现象具有很强的解释力,并具有其独特的哲学基础。进而通过政治经济制度对义务教育政策工具的影响和民主制度对国际和平的影响等具体社会现象分析,该理论得到论述和验证。因而可以称之为一种系统行为分析的通用型社会科学理论。

A general theory of analysis of system behavior in social science-The Golden Spoon Model - is presented. It argues that the essential issue in social science is explaining or descripting the cause-effect relationships, that is the explanation of social phenomena. The Golden Spoon Model focuses on the analysis of social system behavior, it shows a strong theoretical explanatory power for a macro-macro social cause-effect relationship, with a specific philosophy of social science. By ana- lyzing some social phenomena, such as the effect of political and economic structures on the tools of government of compulsory education, as well as the effect of democratic system on international peace, the paper tests successfully the four core factors of the golden spoon model ： structure, actor, interaction and evolution. Therefore, the golden spoon model is a general theory of analysis of system behavior in social science.
