Study on Properties of PLA/1-(2-Ethoxyethyl)-3- Methylimidazolium Tetrafluoroborate Blends and Its Preparation

摘要 将离子液体(IL)—1-乙基乙基醚-3-甲基咪唑四氟硼酸盐与聚乳酸(PLA)进行熔融共混,研究IL的加入对PLA性能的影响。差示扫描量热测试表明,IL对PLA玻璃化转变温度(T g)以及熔点(T m)没有显著影响,但会促使冷结晶峰(T cc)向高温移动,这是由于离子液体对PLA大分子链段的阻碍作用,降低了PLA基体的冷结晶能力。另外,由熔体流动速率(MFR)和热重分析测试结果可知,IL的加入导致PLA材料的MFR增大,初始热失重温度有所下降。表明在熔融共混过程中,IL的存在对PLA熔体具有一定程度的降解作用。其拉伸性能测试表明,IL对PLA具有较好的增韧作用,材料的断裂伸长率得到较大提高。 An ionic liquid (IL), 1-(2-ethoxyethyl)-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate was introduced into PLA by melt blending method. The effects of IL on the properties of PLA were researched. DSC testing elucidates that the presence of IL cannot obviously affect Tg and Tm of PLA matrix. However, the cold crystallization peak (Tcc) shifts upward with the increase of IL content. It can be attributed to the hindering effect of IL on the mobility of PLA chains, which decreases the cold crystallization ability of PLA matrix. The results of MFR and TGA show that: the value of MFR increases and the initial thermal decomposition temperature decreases when IL is introduced into PLA; it indicates that the existence of IL seems to result in the degradation of PLA to some extent during melt-blending process. Compared with neat PLA, the elongation at break of PLA/IL samples increases obviously; it means that the IL has a significant toughness effect on PLA matrix.
