The article expounds that harmonious personality shaping of general teachers and students is the key to build a harmonious university. It also points out that the concrete connotation of the harmonious personality should include attitude and behavior of forgiveness, value and practice ability of fairness and justice, concept and performance of honesty and friendliness, vitality and coordination to promote dynamic colleges and universities, complete knowledge structure and good psychological quality to maintain the harmonious and orderly. Construction of the harmonious university needs the establishment of a long-term effective management mechanism, extensive expansion of extracurricular activity space. And more attention should be attached to the physical and mental health of staffs and students, and to improve the teachers＇ and students＇ realm of personality.
