The Architectural Art of "Chu Ci"

《楚辞》中既有对现实建筑的描写,也有对想象建筑的勾勒。由前者,可以窥探古楚建筑的形貌和风格,从而发掘出蕴含其中的壮丽、精致、柔美、与自然相合的审美理想,以及尚红、接受龙蛇意识、鸟崇拜的文化特征;从后者,可以感受到诗人所寄寓的洁身自好的人格,渴望居于清明有道环境中与明君贤才遇合而一展宏图的情怀和志向。最后,从建筑与自然相融的视角,也可感受到楚民与自然亲和的关系。

＂Chu Ci＂ has the description of architectures in both reality and illusion. Through the former the shapes and appearance of ancient Chu buildings can be imagined to dig out the magnificence, exquisite, beauty and the aesthetic ideals combining with the nature as well as the cultural characters of worshipping red color, dragons, snakes and birds. Through the later the noble personality the writer had committed and desires and ambitions of serving a wise and competent king were felt. From the angle of the emission of nature and architectures the close relationship between the Chu people and nature can be well felt.
