Students majoring in arts are an important group in China＇s higher education, but their current situation of college English learning is less than satisfactory. With the aid of advanced network information technology, exploring collaborative learning mode of college English for students majoring in arts, forming collaborative learning groups, designing collaborative learning methods and building learning community in their college English teaching can bring their unique personality and artistic talent into better play and cultivate their English application ability and team-work spirit and thereby further improve their comprehensive quality and foster multi-skill talents.
