摘要
学习者外语学习能力的培养已成为外语教育者的首要任务之一。本文通过实证研究,探讨成就目标理论与学习者英语学习的关联性。笔者以大学新生非英语专业学习者为调查、研究对象,收集分析相关数据。研究结果表明,学生的"成就目标定向"与其英语学习成绩、性别、成绩回避目标没有明显关联性。而回归分析表明成就目标定向与学习目标、成绩接近目标、高考成绩均呈显著正相关性(p<0.05、p<0.01)。此外,本文结合访谈对数据结果作了深层次分析,以期对英语教学有所启示。
The learning ability cultivation is of priority for teachers in language education. This paper, by way of empirical study, attempts to explore the correlations of achievement goal and other related factors on English learning of college freshmen. The relevant analysis shows that no significant correlation exists among achievement goal, educational achievement, and gender of the participants; while regression analysis indicates that there is significant positive correlation between achievement goal on the one hand and learning goal, grade-approaching goal and entrance examination scores on the other. Besides, further analysis of statistics is made under interviews for the expectation of enlightening English teaching.
