生态翻译学是在"翻译适应选择论"基础上发展起来的一种生态学途径的翻译研究,它为研究翻译中的各种现象甚至非常规现象提供了一个全新的视角。试图从生态翻译学视角对Joan Haste的两部中译本进行案例分析,从而合理地解释在特定时代背景下,同样采用归化翻译策略的两部译本受到截然不同评价的原因。

Eco-translatology is an ecological approach to translation studies developing from the theory of ＂translation as adaptation and selection＂. It provides a new perspective to examine the translation acts even including uncommon acts. The essay attempts to make a case study of the two Chinese versions of Joan Haste from the perspective of eco-translatology to offer reasonable explanations for the different valuations by adopting the same domestication strategies in a ccrtain social context.
