陈忠实的《白鹿原》作为一部"民族的秘史",叙述了清朝末年至建国初期渭河平原五十多年变迁的神奇史诗,塑造了众多的女性形象。有投身于大革命却牺牲于政治迫害的白灵;有被丈夫抛弃,最后却被父亲下重药医死的鹿冷氏;有不甘于命运的安排,最后却以悲剧收场的田小娥。无论是新时代的代表女性白灵,还是听从"父母之命,媒妁之言"的鹿冷氏,还有那位特立独行、为人所不齿的田小娥,她们都只是当时大的社会背景下广大女性的缩影,可以说,这三个典型就代表了当时所有的女性形象。

The novel White Deer Plain written by Chen Zhong-shi is considered as a secret history of our nation. It is a story about the huge change of Wei river plain from Qing dynasty to the beginning of new China. In the novel there are many females. Such as BAI Ling ,LULENG ,and TIAN Xiao-e. All those women have tragic fate. Their destiny are connected with society. They can represent all females at that time.
